Welcome to Alpha Kappa Psi!
My name is Emily and I’m elated to serve as the Alpha Kappa Psi - Beta Xi Chapter’s President here at Virginia Tech. Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world, where lifelong connections, professional development, brotherhood, and leadership thrive.
To me, Alpha Kappa Psi is not just a business fraternity or another club. It is a community of ambitious, determined, and passionate people working to be the next generation of business leaders. We are committed to helping our members grow both personally and professionally. Being a brother in Alpha Kappa Psi offers you the opportunity to gain invaluable professional skills, meet a large alumni network, and meaningful relationships. The Beta Xi chapter and Alpha Kappa Psi has changed my life drastically since I joined in the Fall of 2023, my first semester of my sophomore year. I was looking for a way to develop myself professionally and find a community of like-minded individuals. What I found in Alpha Kappa Psi was so much more. It made me a more confident person and leader, connected me with a large network of students and alumni, and provided me with skills to excel in the business industry.
In just over a year, I have seen the Beta Xi chapter grow from a colony to an officially installed chapter. Through it all, our chapter has exuded our pillars of brotherhood, service, integrity, knowledge, and unity. My fellow brothers have showed unwavering support and true friendship in such a short, impactful time and I hope to offer this experience to others. On behalf of the Beta Xi chapter, we look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on the journey to become the best version of yourself.
